Plenty to WearOver, and over and over...

Have you been to Wearovers, Bedford's best consignment shop, and my guiltiest pleasure?  Graciously run by Vanessa and her incredible staff, Wearovers is a fun maze of women's wear at affordable prices, room after room, upstairs and down, full of color coordinated designer threads.  Search thoroughly enough and you will find your vintage piece as well.  What is affordable you may ask?  Everything from a $1 H &M tee to a Christian Dior coat in the four digit range.

Don't forget the Diva Den, where everything is $5 or under. It's actually not in the den but upstairs; two rooms full of low priced clothing that still is in good shape. This is Wearovers, not leftovers.

What we love: besides the great prices for quality clothing, the laid back atmosphere is hard to beat. Handmade signage, recycled shopping bags, and a great feeling of community are in the air. It's easy to fall into a pleasant conversation with Vanessa, (who has a great memory), and the other women who work there: Pata, Pam, and other shopping experts who truly want to help you.  The chat even spills over with fellow customers.  Want to consign? The rules are simple, and no appointment is necessary. Be patient though. The Wearover Women are in high demand, with the phone ringing and regulars in and out, dropping off their stash. Store hours can be a bit of a challenge, especially if you work a 40 hour week. This is not a chain department store. But then again, who wants that when you can shop like this?

Winter Clearance. Run, don't walk!

My favorite! Love the handmade signs.

And even better, the incredible sales on top of already reduced prices.

Any store with Ikea shelving has to be good. Bags, and more goodies in the bins.
